Who I am

My website is: https://cbprojs.com/
I am a enjoying having projects. Unfortunatly that means a whole lot of stuff does not get completed, finished or otherwise polished. I simply like starting and failing at stuff, until the main hurdle is taken, and then I simply don’t continue. Sue me. It does mean however that I end up with some interesting scripts, sites, music pieces and so on. Don’t judge me, just have fun with what is there and give credit where it is due. Thanks for stopping by.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. There is unlikely to be alot of that, and apologies if spam gets through. I have no adverts on the site, and no interest in selling or even collecting data. So no worries.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. So don’t put one up unless you really want to.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who we share your data with

Noone!. Unless we get hacked, but then it is not voluntary, and I am extremely sorry. But there is no way I can cover any damages. So don’t comment or leave email addresses unless you are ok with hackers getting them some day. I suggest you use the spam e-mail address, that you give to all enquiery websites. Luckily you can not register on the site for a news-lette, or updates. So no worries on that front. But I do use a form so you can reach me, and that e-mail address goes into a database on the site, and that is the risk. I will not use the e-mail address, but the form I use uses mysql so – sorry.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

Website administrators can see and edit that information.but as I am the only admin you should be ok.

What rights you have over your data

You can request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes. I may however have stopped updating the site, and it has fallen into disrepair. In that case I will probably delete it when the site discontinuous. You can see that I am not admin friendly. But I am just me, and don’t employ people to do this kind of stuff. So you have to live with that. But contact me, and if I am around I will delete anything that is stored from you, even and including comments.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments are checked through an automated spam detection service.
